About The Event
Human trafficking remains a transnational organized crime that disproportionately affects women and children. Despite the existence of international instruments such as the Palermo Protocol and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, gaps persist in implementation, enforcement, and victim protection at national and regional levels. With increasing cross-border mobility, digital exploitation, and evolving trafficking networks, there is a pressing need to strengthen legal frameworks, enhance institutional cooperation, and adopt victim-cantered approaches. This conference aims to provide a global platform for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange knowledge and develop actionable strategies.
